Leanne Lavelle (BSc Hons, mRCSLT, mASLTIP, HCPC Registered)

Leanne has a decade’s worth of experience supporting children with a wide range of Speech, Language and Communication Needs as part of the NHS and privately. Leanne is a passionate and enthusiastic therapist who is skilled and confident in managing children with language delay/disorder, social communication difficulties, autism, speech sound delay/disorder, stammering, selective mutism and attention and listening difficulties.

Leanne works with families in their homes, delivering therapy sessions that involve finding creative and fun ways to motivate the child to engage them in the therapy process as well as actively involving and working alongside parents to support them in developing their confidence on how to support their child. Leanne also provides Speech & Language Therapy services into schools often involving assessments/reports for EHCP applications, direct therapy (individual and group), whole school training, parent workshops etc. Leanne works closely with schools to set up a bespoke service that meets the needs of each individual school.
